PUTMAN, Jack L. – Of Dothan, Alabama, age 78, died Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Dothan, Alabama.
A Rosary Service will be held 7pm Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 5pm Wednesday until the time of the Rosary Service at the funeral home.
Jack was born in Ashville, Alabama on October 23, 1938, the son of the late Agnes Dockery and lived in the Flint area for several years. Jack retired for General Motors. He attended St. John in Davison.
Surviving are wife, Pat;
daughters, Donaley (Barney) Vasquez and Nanette (Ronald) Anders;
grandchildren, Landon Anders, Johnnie (Jessica) Anders, Christopher Anders, Daniel (Laura) Vasquez, Miguel (Jaime) Vasquez and Jessica (Tyler) Stephens;
11 great-grandchildren;
brother, Jerry Dockery; sister, Elaine (Ron) Young;
and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Dockery, step-father, Virgel Dockery, great-grandson, Antonio Vasquez, and brother, Bobby Dockery.
