Girard, Robert J.- of Clio, age 66, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. Inurnment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery with full Military Honors at a later day.
Robert was born July 31, 1955, in Montreal, Quebec, to the late Andre and Eloise (Raymond) Girard. He graduated from Garden City East High School with the class of 1974. Robert served in the Army from 1974-1977, in that time he was awarded a Marksmanship Badge in Rifle M-16 and hand grenade. He worked at Chrysler as a model maker for 27 years. Robert enjoyed muscle cars, jeeps and off roading. Above all he loved his family.
Surviving are: Children: Jennifer (Jason) Turner, Nicole (Judsen) Campbell and Kevin (Jeanette) Girard; Grandchildren: Andre Mehl, Kateya Mehl, Sammantha Turner, Gavin Turner, Brittany Bargowski, Gage Bargowski, Emeree Campbell, Vincent Girard and Oliver Girard; Great grandchild: Greigh Bargowski; Brothers: Sylvain Girard and Mario (Maureen) Girard; Ann Szymanski; Nieces: Olivia, Megan and Hannah.
