HOLLAND, Ann H. – of Burton, passed away June 10, 2013 at her residence. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Ann was born in Saginaw, MI. She was the 4th of five children of Catherine and Michael Husack. Ann graduated from Saginaw High School and was very involved in school activities including the Drum and Bugle Corp and sports such as volleyball. Ann was married to Donald J. Holland for 17 years. She began her career at Michigan Bell Telephone and after a short period, she joined Buick Engineering. There, she worked as a receptionist in the lobby and later as a secretary, totaling 35 years of service at Buick Engineering. Ann was a member of IBG (Industrial Business Girls).
Ann leaves a long time companion, Larry Sharp; nieces, Kathryn Schmidt and Cheryl Hellebuyck; nephews, Bob Schmidt, Rick Husack, Ron Husack and Jim Husack; several grand nieces and nephews, as well as a devoted staff of caregivers. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Mary Mayer, Nick Husack, Chuck Husack and Rose Schmidt; dear niece, Geraldine Parker.
