FOWLER, James M. "Jim" – of Davison, age 57, died Monday, November 10, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Friday, November 14, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Tina Lucas, his cousin, will officiate. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12-3 and 5-8PM and on Friday from 11AM until time of services at 1PM. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of one's choice. Jim was born October 12, 1957 in Flint to the late David and Betty (Brogan) Fowler. He was born and raised in Clio and lived in Davison the past 20 years. After graduating from high school he earned his Associates Degree from Mott Community College in Applied Sciences. Jim retired in 2006 from AC with 30 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #651. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, the Detroit Lions but his family meant the most to him. Surviving are: children, Erik Fowler, Mallory Fowler and Colin Fowler; their mother, Tracy Fowler-Johnston, all of Davison; grandson, Harley; 2 sisters and a brother, Tonna Poston of Clio, Sue (Dennis) Matthews of Fostoria, Elvin (Vicki) Fowler of Clio; many nieces and nephews; Lifelong friends, Larry, Johnny, Dave and Randy; canine companions, Sadie and Haley.
