INGRAM, Terry Maurice - Of Flint, age 89, died Sunday, May 10, 2026
at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 10am Friday, June 5, 2026 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Thomas Ingram officiating, opening and closing prayer by Dwight Peters.
Burial in Davison Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the VFW Post #822 Honor Guard.
Visitation 2-7pm Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the funeral home. A VFW Post 822 Auxiliary Memorial Service will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday.
Terry Ingram was born on June 3, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to Cois & Muriel (Cleary) Ingram. He graduated from Central High School, Class of 1954. He went to work for General Motors in the capacity of Supervisor. Mr. Ingram retired in 1987 after 33 years of service. He married Truly in February 1980 in Indiana. After retirement he joined the Men's Auxiliary at VFW post #822 in 1996 and began honoring and serving veterans by arranging for honor guard services for their funeral services. Terry was a big fan of U of M football and the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings.
Terry is survived by children, Cynthia and husband David Ross, Terry Ellen and husband Dwight Peters, Jennifer and husband Bill Judkins, Daniel and wife Stacey, Thomas and wife Sharon, and Elizabeth and husband Raul Pariona;
8 grandchildren, Thomas Bellinger, Adam Bellinger, Andrea Albin, Jason Peters, Charlie Judkins, Benjamin Ingram, Bethany Long, Bobby Long and many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, Waylon;
Sisters Kay and husband Jack Iles, Julie and husband Bob Scott.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Truly, his parents and his dear friend, Al Carmona.
