Jacqueline Ann Olk was born on April 22, 1960 and passed away on October 7, 2021.
Jackie was always the life of the party, with the most infectious laugh you have ever heard. She was extremely caring and giving to all of her friends and family, and will be greatly missed. She spent most of her time enjoying life and living it to the fullest -- she did more in her 61 years than most can dream of! Whether it was hopping on a plane to explore a new town, evenings with family and friends, or watching football, she did it all with gusto. Despite her busy fun filled life, she always made sure to spend time with family and friends she cared for. She has worked at General Motors for the last 26 years and will be missed there by all of her co-workers.
Jackie is survived by her brothers, Pat Olk, Bob (Teri) Olk, John (Theresa) Olk, and sister, Paula (Ed) Ginther; godson and nephew, Michael (Nicole) Olk; nephew, Keith (Paige) Hoover; nieces, Kelly (John) Zamora, Jamie (Neil) Bruff, Shana (Francisco) Espinoza, Sandy (Ryan) Stempek, Raeann (Jason) Lescoe, Denise (Joel) Agle and Tricia Hoover; honorary daughter, Ka Saundra VanLuven and honorary grandson, Keoni Won. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Patricia Olk. We take comfort in knowing that she is with them at this time and that they are watching over our family as we mourn this painful loss.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2-5 PM, with a brief service at 5 PM, at McGeehan Funeral Homes, New Lothrop Chapel, 9405 Butternut St, New Lothrop.
