A private service and burial will take place.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Joyce was born in Hells Beginning, Missouri the daughter of the late James and Bessie (Starnes) Weeks. She was the fifth child out of ten. She married Billie Waltrip in Piggott, Arkansas on January 19, 1952. They moved to Michigan in 1954, where she worked as a bookkeeper until she retired.
Joyce leaves behind 2 children, Donna Cox and Richard (Heather) Waltrip;
Grandchildren, Joy (Steve) Sturgis, Jill Odette, Heather (Bob) Townsend, Jared Waltrip and Cheyenne (Tony) Ovington;
Great-grandchildren, Lilly Sturgis, Addyson Sturgis, Alyson Odette, Gracie Odette, Dax Ovington and Wade Ovington.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Billie; her parents, James and Bessie Weeks; brothers, James Weeks and Blown Weeks; sisters, Colleen Patterson, Estella Jackson and JoAnne Cashon.
