Gertrude L. Davison, age 98, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017. She was born on February 20, 1919 in Little Falls, Minnesota to parents Leo and Anna (Kuchinski) Tandeski. She was the proud owner and operator of Dru-Cil Beauty Salon in Flint from 1954 until 1980. She enjoyed travelling, gardening, fishing, music, dancing, and going out to eat. She was a longtime member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Flint. Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Isabelle (Jack) Eaton; grandchildren: Lisa Koszegi, Brenda (Mark) Warburton, and Jeffrey Koszegi; great grandchildren: Christopher (Allison) Ehrke, Michael Koszegi, Shauna Koszegi; great-great grandson, Eli Ehrke; close extended family, John Koszegi; nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, William Davison; grandson, Gregory Koszegi; siblings: Alex, Marcella, and Margaret. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2500 N. Franklin Ave., Flint. Father Robert Bacik celebrating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 3-8pm at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, with a Rosary Service at 7pm. The family will receive visitors at church one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers at The Pines of Burton and Regency at Grand Blanc for their continuous care and compassion. Those considering may make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association.
