LINTZ (LaCHAPELLE), Mickie - Of Birch Run, age 94, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Gross Assisted Living.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
A private committal service has taken place, Reverend Carol Blair-Bouse officiated.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope United Methodist Church.
Mickie was born in Gary, Indiana on January 4, 1927 the daughter of the late Jesse and Lelia (Harber) Moore.
On January 11, 1947 she married John LaChapelle in Flint and he preceded her in death; and then on November 22, 1998 she married Robert Lintz in Las Vegas and he also preceded her in death.
She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church.
Mickie worked for elementary schools in the Carman-Ainsworth School District for 26 years.
Surviving are children, Karen (Gerry Davis) LaChapelle, Kathy (Bob) Waggoner, Steven Diana) LaChapelle;
step-children, Pamela (Rod) Purkey, Tim (Debbie) Lintz, Craig (Kathy) Lintz, Jody (Danielle) Lintz, Brian (Karen) Lintz, Judy Couch, Tom (Peggy) Lintz and Jacie (Shannon Jenks) Lintz;
25 grandchildren;
numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren;
brother, Ned (Marilyn) Moore;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John LaChapelle and Robert Lintz; daughter, Kristine Walker; brothers, Leo Moore and Edward Moore and great-granddaughter, Tina.
