Carolee Anne Carmack, age 85, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home in Grand Blanc. A funeral service will follow on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM, also at Hill Funeral Home, with an hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. The service will be officiated by her grandson, Brandon Carmack. Interment will take place afterward at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
Carolee was born in Grand Blanc on July 25, 1939, the daughter of the late Clarence and Arlene (Shank) Coon. She married the love of her life, Robert Gerald “Jerry” Carmack, on September 17, 1960, and together they built a loving home until his passing on October 4, 2007.
A woman of deep faith and devotion, Carolee was a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church, where she shared her musical gifts as a pianist and choir member. She knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and sought to reflect His love in her service to others—especially as a dedicated nurse at McLaren Hospital, where she served patients and families with compassion for over 32 years.
Carolee was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three children: Beth (Dennis) Osmon, Robert (Tracey) Carmack, Brian (Kathy) Carmack
She leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren: Brandon (Jessica) Carmack, Brooke (Paul) Virost, Kate (Jacob) Ogi, Brian Jr. (Katie) Carmack, Stephen Carmack, Alex (Kristen) Carmack, and Isaac Osmon.
She is also lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren: Maddie, Ellie, Evelyn, Maryn Rose, Eliza, Lucy, and Violet.
Carolee is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, as well as four brothers and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
Carolee’s legacy of faith, service, music, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. |
