JAVOR, Ingrid – of Burton, formerly of Clio and Millington, age 79, died peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. Funeral service will be held at 1PM on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial at Pinegrove Cemetery in Arbela Township to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10:30AM until the time of service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Ingrid was born December 25, 1945, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to the late John and Mary (Burns) Vikstrom. She graduated from Memphis Community Schools and attended Baker College. Ingrid shared many wonderful years with her beloved husband, Joseph Javor. Joseph preceded her in death in 1993. She worked as a tax agent at H & R Block in Clio until her retirement. Ingrid enjoyed crocheting and reading – she especially liked reading a good romance or thriller novel. Though from the outside she looked gruff, Ingrid truly had a heart of gold and would do just about anything to make you smile. She was a wonderful woman who can never be replaced and will be dearly missed.
Ingrid is forever remembered by: Children: Philip (Deb Blakely) Javor, Josephine (Greg) Grennay, Michael Javor (Laura Lafata), Barbara (George Tompkins) Javor; Grandchildren: Joshua Javor, Amanda Javor, Elizabeth Allen, Jonathan (Kim) Allen, Michael McQueen, Theramarisa McQueen, Erin Butzin, Kimberly Harvey, Rodney “RJ” Harvey, Jr., Cassandra Javor, Katlyn LaFata, and Mikenna LaFata; Great Grandchildren: Natalie, Aubrey, Noah, Kayla, Lilly, Daniel Wayne, Savannah, Aaron, Mikey, Jr., Maddie, Aiden, Alise, Amira, Lilith, Julie, Madeline, and GiGi; Sister, Barbara Vikstrom; Stepson, Chuck Javor; Stepdaughter, Sally Javor; Many nieces, nephews, and a very large extended family. Ingrid was preceded in death by: Husband, Joseph; Daughter, Veronica Javor; Granddaughter, Kayla Rolland; Parents, John and Mary; Siblings: Pat and Carl; Grandparents: James and Nellie, Anges Burns, and John and Febe; Stepchildren: Ed, Vicki, Joe, and Rick. |
