Patricia Elizabeth Roose, 85, of Hadley, MI, passed away and found peace and freedom for her soul on October 10, 2023, in the comforts of her home and with her family by her side. Patricia held dear the time spent with her loving family and adored traveling with her husband when given the chance. The most important thing you should know is that Patricia had a relationship with God. God’s gift of wildlife, birds, and pet dogs always had a happy home on Patricia and Edward's beautiful property. Although she has left us and remembering her will be easy, the hole in our hearts will never disappear.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 53 years Edward Roose; children Gary Roose and Patti Lawson; step-children John (Sue) Good, Venessa Nelson and twin Melissa (Chris) Courtney, Rhennea (Paul) Buck and Alicia Roose; grandchildren John B. (Jessica) Good, Lia (Bill) Scarince, Bethany (Alex) Wilkerson, Amy (Tim) Ferguson, Dennis (Brandy) Miller, Adam Miller, Chad (Kylie) DeBeau, Joshua Courtney, Alex Courtney, Thomas Beaudry, Ryan Beaudry, and Miranda Beaudry; great-grandchildren Jack Scarince, Breanne McConnell, Morgan Miller, Aiden, Jayce, (twins) London and Aria Good, Gabriel, Charley Joy, Zachariah Wilkerson, Kennedy DeBeau, Larry and Matthew Levy, Emily Bicego, Sadira Gross, Daphne, Dennis III, Ariana, Thomas, Bryce, and Sophia Miller; 12 great-great-grandchildren and sister Sharron Sasser.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Rose Antaya; Brother Ronald Antaya; and granddaughter Angie Truitt.
Friends may visit on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 10:30-12:00 noon at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon. Pastor Vic Bass will officiate. Following the service Patricia will be laid to rest at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester. Memorial donations may be made to Compassion International.
