LINCE, Jack J. – Of Flint, age 87, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Stephanie Sorenson officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to L.E.C. Beautification Fund.
Visitation 1-3pm and 6-8pm Monday and 11am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jack was born in Flint, Michigan on July 11, 1928, the son of Clarence and Alice (Harding) Lince and was a resident of Flint and Grand Blanc areas his entire life.
He graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1947. He was a member of Life Enrichment Center and Board of Directors-Flint.
Jack married Jaris Jean Williams on June 7, 1947 in Flint and she preceded him in death on April 16, 2009.
Mr. Lince was employed by Buick Motor Division for 47 years, retiring in January, 1997 as an Electrician Leader.
Surviving are son, Jack, Jr. and wife, Kathleen of Flint;
four granddaughters, Heather, Cynthia, Andrea and Mary Jean;
19 great-grandchildren;
2 great-great grandchildren
sister, Marilyn (Jerry) Werschky;
sister-in-law, Judy Lince;
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; son, Dennis F., on March 9, 1988, granddaughter, Denise, grandson, Aaron, 2 sisters, Shirley and Margaret and brother, William.
