Donald E. Howard of Davison, age 60, died Tuesday November 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday November 16, 2013 at the First Baptist Church 208 E. Fourth St. Davison. Rev. Chris Radcliffe will officiate; followed burial in West Vienna Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 3:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Donald will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Saturday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Don’s memory to the American Cancer Society. Don was born in Moorehead Kentucky May 1, 1953 the son of Clayton & Goldie (Wagner) Howard and has resided n the Davison area for thirty-three years. He was joined in marriage to Sherry Branham on May 17, 1980. Don was President of Saginaw Bay Walleye Club, member of the Flint Steelheader’s Club, Life member of the Michigan Bow Hunters Association, Served as Captain on numerous Fishing Charters and was active in the Walleye for Warriors and many fishing tournaments throughout Michigan. Don had been employed by General Motors Metal Fabrication Division for thirty-five years retiring in 2006. He leaves to cherish his memory wife, sherry, children Mike & Janet Howard, Sarah Howard, and Kristina Treadway. Grandchildren: Austin, Alexia, Alyssa, Caleb, and, Lillian. Mother Goldie Howard, sisters; Thelma & Ed conger, Gloria & Jerry Finch, Carole & Richard Harris, Patti & Dick Molesworth, Shirley & Ken Burns, and a host of other relatives.
