DeBOLT, Irene H. – Of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Clare Bridge of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Grand Blanc United Methodist Church, 515 Bush Avenue, Grand Blanc, Reverend G. Patrick England officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. DeBolt will be at the church from 11:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
Irene was born in Ironwood, Michigan on January 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Victor and Helen (Koivisto) Mattson.
She married William DeBolt on July 29, 1943 and they were married for 32 years; he preceded her in death in 1975.
She was a member of Grand Blanc United Methodist Church.
Mrs. DeBolt retired from GM.
Surviving are children, Gale Fortney,
Randy and wife Judy DeBolt,
Myron and wife Karen DeBolt,
Vicki and husband Douglas Phillips;
grandchildren, David, Ross and Jonathan DeBolt,
Justin Fortney and Sadie (Mike) Shepard,
Chad DeBolt, Megan (Jordon) Buss,
Matt (Marla) DeBolt and Jeff DeBolt and Steven Phillips;
nine great-grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, William DeBolt; sons, Dennis and Gary DeBolt; grandson, Bradley DeBolt and brother, Wilfred Mattson.
