GIBSON, Marcia Ellen, daughter of John and Beth (Gillette) Maters, born April 19th 1946, passed November 11, 2019.
Marcia was a very kind and gentlewoman; her greatest joy in life was caring for her late daughter Kim. She also loved spending time with her late husband George, cruising both at sea rocking to the songs from their youth, and in the Corvette Club.
Her husband George, daughter Kim, brother David Maters, brother-in-law Ron, and parents John and Beth precede her in death.
Surviving family is her son George (Monika), three grandsons John-David, Thomas (Carman), and Phillip, sister-in-law Linda, brother-in-law Geney (Linda), Sisters-in-law Debbi, Sister-in-law Carol, Sister-in-law Terri, and her beloved friends Linda, Harry, Darwin, and Resi. Who showed her love and care throughout life, both in the good times and the bad.
If you would wish to pay your respects, please join the family from 12pm-2pm, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
If you would like to make a donation to the Humane Society, or the Shriner Hospital for Children in Marcia’s honor. This would bring her great joy to honor her love for animals, and the love and support the Shriner’s showed her cherished daughter Kim.
