BRANSCUM, James Donald Jr. “Jimmy B” – Of Burton, age 50, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dale Pattee officiating.
Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be put towards an account for his daughter, Abby, please make payable to Mary Alice Branscum.
James was born on March 7, 1971 in Flint, Michigan to the late James Sr. and Mary Alice (Holland) Branscum.
Jim loved being a dad to his daughter, Abigail, who is the light of his world.
He was a hard worker and provided for his daughter, loved riding his Harley and being with family and friends.
James is survived by his daughter, Abigail Branscum;
his mother, Mary Alice Branscum;
sister, Pamela (Christopher) Lewis;
brother, Craig Branscum;
nephews and niece, Jason (Jessica) Hafer, Jeremy (Ashley) Hafer, Joshua Lewis, Chelsea Lewis, Jake Hafer and Jared (Kimberly) Hafer;
8 great-nephews;
many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, James D. Branscum, Sr.; sister, Ruth Hafer; paternal grandparents, Ervil and Chole Branscum; maternal grandparents, William and Mary Holland.
