Ronald Shuman, age 84, of Vassar, Michigan, died Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his home. Graveside service to take place 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Flint Memorial Park. Pastor Cliff Bira to officiate. If you wish to attend, please meet inside the main cemetery entrance on Dort Hwy. several minutes prior to the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Flushing or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Ronald was born in Huron County, Michigan on August 2, 1936 to Albert and Florence (Hill) Shuman. He married Clara Rodey on January 20, 1962. Ronald was an inspector for General Motors and had many hobbies. He enjoyed radio-controlled airplanes and his tool collection. He would assemble model cars and loved his John Deere tractor.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Clara; children, Helen Shuman, Danny (Suzann) Shuman, David Shuman, and Laurie Ann (Jeffery) Scharff; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. |
