PHILLIPS, Dorothy M. – of Flushing, age 73, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Fellowship Baptist Church, G 14046 N. Saginaw Rd. in Clio. Pastor Darrel Manning officiating. Burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Friday from 3 to 8PM and at the church on Saturday from 10AM until time of services at 11AM. Contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
Dorothy was born December 30, 1940 in Flint to the late Albert and Viola (Rappley) Hoover. She married Robert Phillips on November 12, 1966 and lived in the Flushing area since 1969. Mrs. Phillips was employed in the cafeteria at Buick for 17 years then 3 years at Rite Aid. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting.
Surviving are: husband, Bob; children, Cindy (Tim) Rose, Terri Yehle, Anita Moquin, all of Clio, Gary Phillips of FL, Brenda (Ron) Ross of Clio; 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Mark) Welliver of FL; 1 niece.
