DZIDO, Benjamin Bernard - age 35, of Fenton, passed away September 29, 2026. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Fenton. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Dzido Children Educational Fund c/o Raymond James (make checks payable to Raymond James), 14165 N. Fenton Rd., Suite 201a2, Fenton, MI 48430. Benjamin was born September 4, 1991, in Flint, the son of Guy T. Dzido and Terri Lynn Myers. Benjamin graduated from Powers Catholic High School in 2010 and attended Michigan State University. He was true man of faith who recently joined the Knights of Columbus. He worked as a project manager for CCI Industrial Construction and was a member of the Marksmanship Training Center. He was a loving family man who enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, long-range shooting, and exploring Michigan with his family. He was always one to speak his mind no matter what. Benjamin married the love of his life and soulmate Meghan Moon on September 22, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Meghan; children, Harrison and Lydia Dzido; father, Guy Dzido; mother and stepfather, Terri and Jeff Floyd; brother, Jonathan Dzido; parents-in-law, Walter and Kathryn Moon; sister-in-law, Madalyn (Trevor) Sexton; grandmothers, Sharon Wagster and Karen Schlieger; faithful furry companion, Artemis. Benjamin was preceded in death by his uncle, Bernard M. Dzido, and his grandparents, Robert Myers and Bernard A. and Dorothy Dzido. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
