CAMEHL, Loyd E. – age 84, died peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2024, at his residence. Funeral service will be held 3PM Monday, April 8, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. A private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Monday from 1PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Loyd was born March 27, 1940, in Montrose, to the late Lyle and Helen (Tinkham) Camehl. Loyd served his country in the United States Army and attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on cars, and spending time with family and friends. He married Elizabeth J. (Davis) Hager on March 26, 1983.
Loyd is survived by his Children: Shelly Davis, Debbie Camehl of Flint, Sheila Orr of Montrose, Melisa Clark, and Jerry Hager; 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Bill (Roberta) Camehl of Hesperia; Sisters: Shirley Daniels of Montrose and Lisa Atwell of Burt. Loyd was preceded in death by his Son, Loyd E. Camehl II; Brother, Dan Camehl; Sisters: Marsha Tinkham and Linda Camehl. |
