REX, Onalee Alice - Of Grand Blanc, age 94, died Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 1PM Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Robyn Parker officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Onalee was born in Flint, Michigan on January 2, 1929 the daughter of the late William and Lula (Appleby) Beebe and was a resident of Flint all of her life. She was a 1947 graduate of Flint Central High School and attended GMI. On September 23, 1950, she married George E. Bradford in Flint and he preceded her in death on May 23, 1993. Onalee married Robert A. Rex on January 21, 1995 in Flint. She was a life time member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving are husband, Robert;
daughters, Georgia (Larry) Deering, Rev. Cindy (Jim) Baker and Nancy (Charles) Keesler;
several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren;
stepsons, Harold (Betty Jo) Rex, Charles (Stacey) Rex and Danny (Brigitte) Rex;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by step-daughter, Janet Colburn, son-in-law, Rev. William Loy and sister, Gloria (Dr. Carlton) Dettman.
