Ken Ranville, born in Flint on May 11, 1980, passed away July 1, 2025 at the age of 45.
Ken was easy going, gentle, and a nice person to be around. In his interest areas, he strove for excellence paying attention to the details. Ken enjoyed golfing, playing Magic, and putting together small intricate models, especially metal ones. His big passion was bowling, which he excelled at with multiple 300 games and 800 series.
Ken grew up in the Grand Blanc area, graduated from Carman-Ainsworth High School, and then Saginaw Valley State University where he was on the bowling team. He worked at Magna for several years advancing from line worker to computer technician servicing the lines.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Mary Helen Ranville, and niece Hanna. He is survived by his siblings, Scott (Jenny), Michelle (Joe), Kevin (Lisa), step mom Joanne, nieces (Summer, Skye, Alex, Maria), nephews (Xavier, Paul, Fabian, Sean, Ryan), and many other extended family.
Visitation 4-8pm Monday July 14 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 6pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 9am Tuesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI.
