LENGYEL, Julie M. – Of Grand Blanc, age 68, died Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society.
Visitation 5-8 pm. Tuesday and 12-3 and 5-8 pm. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Julie was born in Flint, Michigan on April 26, 1949, the daughter of the late John and Maude (Saylor) Lengyel.
Julie was employed at Berkshire Hathaway Realty. She was former owner/operator of Big Boy in the Courtland Center.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are spouse, James (JTB) Canty;
son, Jason and wife Jennifer Lengyel;
grandchildren, Katie and Christopher;
sisters, Marjorie Burke, Elaine and husband Dave Thillen,
Denise and husband Michael Smith,
Bethany and husband Bill Dufresne;
brother, Dennis Lengyel; special friends, Jeanne Rau and Vicky Vamos;
niece and nephews, Heather Burke, Nicholas, Joseph and Adam Lengyel and Ryan Smith;
other sons, Rob Moen, Christopher Durant, Patrick Kita and Donald J. Perillo.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Lengyel, Jr.
