Florence E. Edmonds, age 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 13, 1929, in Clio, to Gordon & Hazel (Benjamin) Green; both have preceded her in death. She will be sorely missed by her: two daughters, Wanda (Terry) Meisel of Vassar, and Barbara Beck of Broadway, North Carolina; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She is also preceded in death by seven sisters and two brothers. Florence enjoyed golfing, crocheting, and spending time with her special friends. She was also a member of F.O.E. 2380.
A memorial service for Florence will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Vassar First United Methodist Church; visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Scott Sherrill will preside.
