WINSTEAD, Robert “Bob”– of Davison, age 83, passed away on July 16, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held 6 PM Friday, July 18, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Chaplain Goodman Cox officiating. Private interment will take place in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4 PM Friday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
Robert was born in Pontiac, MI on December 27, 1941, son of the late Elmer and Margaret (Olah) Winstead. He married Sharon Ehlert on May 10, 2012 in Flushing. Bob loved classic cars and was an avid reader. Bob loved to play and advise friends about the stock market. He loved traveling and visited all but three states. His favorite things were traveling to Petoskey and Port Huron watching the boats go by, antique shopping, big band music and wineries.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters, Kimberly (Paul) Winstead Collins and Sheri (James) Halfacer; grandchildren, Colton (Kelsea), McKinley and Alice; great grandson, Avery; sister, Ann (Dennis) Olmstead; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by grandson, Gabriel and great granddaughter, Violet. The family would like to give a special thank you to The Medical Team Hospice for all their care and support.
