ROSS, Arliss Alton – of Montrose, age 76, died Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Chesaning Nursing Care Center. Honoring Arliss’s wishes cremation has taken place and graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
Arliss was born March 1, 1942 in Birch Run, Michigan to the late Edward and Margaret (Tackebury) Ross. He grew up in Birch Run and graduated from Birch Run High School with the class of 1960. On February 13, 1965 he married Judith Ann Polk in Saginaw, Michigan and she preceded him in death on May 14, 2017. Prior to his retirement, he worked for GM at Buick City for 35 years. He was a member of Community of Christ in Clio. Arliss enjoyed traveling, Tigers baseball and his grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children, Arliss (Suzanne) Ross ll, Rebecca (Blanca) Ross, Michelle (Scott) Balanowski; Grandchildren, Kyle (Beth Anne) Patterson, Kaleb (Jessica) Patterson, Emma Ross, Jonathan Ross, Joshua Balanowski, Jessica (Barry) Hines, Jennifer Balanowski; Great Grandchildren, Jackson, Balanowski, Gracelyn Hines, Kaylynn Balanowski, Layla Patterson, Hunter Balanowski, and future granddaughter Patterson; several nieces and nephews.
