HOWELL, Edward M. – of Davison, age 58, passed away March 19, 2015 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, March 23, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Andrew Gookin officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 1– 7 PM Sunday and 10–11 AM Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Christ the King in Lapeer.
Edward was born in Flint, MI on July 22, 1956, son of Edward and Dorothy (Mitchell) Howell. He married Marcia “Marcy” Wheeler on June 25, 1999. Edward was a member of Christ the King in Lapeer, Lutheran Via De Christo of Central Michigan and UAW Local #598. He worked at Truck and Bus retiring in 2005.
Edward is survived by his wife, Marcia “Marcy”; mother, Dorothy, children, Edward J. Howell, Angela (Brad) Barnette, Joshua (Kristy) Holmes, Lloyd (Dana) Wright and Martin (Tori) Wright; grandchildren, Alaina, Austin, Nick, Devin, Bailey, Faith, Wyatt, Cody, Delaney, Austin, Kali, Trevor, Nicholas, Mark and Mason; sisters, Cheryl (Jack) Yates and Gale (Mike) Hunt; brother, Glen Howell; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward and daughter, Christina.
