PALMER, Charles Wayne Jr. “Chuck” – Of Flint, age 61, died Friday, August 22, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain Goodman L. Cox officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the wishes of the family.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
A Memorial Service will be conducted by Flint Lodge #23, F.&.A.M. at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Charles was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on March 3, 1953, son of the late Charles and Mary (Hager) Palmer.
He served his country in the U.S. Army
He was a Mason of the Flint Lodge #23, F.&.A.M.
Mr. Palmer was employed by GM at Flint Truck & Bus for 30 years, retiring in 2009.
Surviving are wife, Marie;
four children, Brian (Michelle) Palmer,
Christy (Dave) Keel,
Amber Palmer and Tara Palmer;
six grandchildren, Breanna, Karissa, Shelby, Shawna, Chyanne and Alyssa;
one sister, Lisa (Jim) Blanton;
two nieces, Nicole Little and Melissa Blanton.
