BURDA, Edward – Of Burton, age 67, died Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12Noon Thursday, April 4, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton Street, Davison, MI.

Rev. Father Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating.

Visitation 3-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 11:00am Thursday at church until the time of the Mass.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St John the Evangelist Catholic Church Blessed Sacrament.

Edward was born in Flint, Michigan on September 23, 1956, the son of Frank and Adela (Cwieka) Burda. Edward worked and retired from Chevy Truck and Bus. He was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Edward was an active gardener and loved his dogs.

Surviving are his wife, Renee;

Step-daughter, Reanna Nalepa;

Brother and sisters, Richard Burda and wife Brenda, Barbara Kovacs and Theresa and husband Steve Burda-Whitener;

Niece and nephews, Stephanie Huff, Steven Kovacs, Danny Burda and Hadley Huff.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jeffery and parents, Frank and Adela.
