Robert C. Eady, Jr., age 88 of Davison, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was surrounded by the warmth and love of his dear wife Patricia M. (Decker) Eady, many of his children and grandchildren, and the heartfelt messages of loved ones who could not be with him.
Bob was born on March 30, 1929 in Detroit to Robert C. Eady, Sr. and Vivian V. (Christie) Eady. He was an adoring husband to Pat for nearly 70 years, and gave constant and unconditional love and support to his children Robert Eady (Nancy Schwartz), Kathleen Eady, Susan Eady (Susan Jungck), David Eady (Maggie), and Patricia Marvin, grandchildren Shakyra Doyle (Jonathan), Nuri Eady (Leila), Daniel Eady (Emily), Joel Eady, Jesse Marvin, Ian Eady (Amy), Jaime Marvin (Dale Payne), Jeremy Eady (Samantha Woodworth), Adam Miskiewicz (Ashly Oehrl), and Ruhiyyih Eady, and eight precious great-grandchildren. He was a remarkable man who never missed a single event for his family, and he enjoyed photographing and filming as many of those experiences as possible.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Colleen Ureel (Kenneth) and JoAnne Starr (Henry), and his beloved son-in-law, Michael Marvin. Active in his church and community, he was a man of honor and dignity who always put his family, friends, and lifelong service to others before himself. He was an exemplary role model who will live on in our hearts for all eternity.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, celebrant. The family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church of Davison, in memory of Robert C. Eady, Jr.
