Voelker, Barbara Jean, of Flushing, age 70, died Monday, November 5, 2018, at her home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held for family and friends on November 17th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Davison, Michigan, at 11:00am. Pastor Todd Frusti will lead this celebration of her life with lunch to be served immediately following.
Barbara was born in Flint, Michigan on November 9, 1947, the daughter of Harold and Helen (Hawkins) Davis. She married Gary Voelker on May 13, 1995. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2008.
Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her sons, Tony and wife Lori Lipsky, Matthew Lipsky, Scott Cavitt; grandchildren, Scott, Nicole, Matthew, T.J., Mackenzie, Brandon and Sara; great-grandchildren, Luke and Dylan; sister, Betty and husband Dave Cowden; brother, Gary Davis; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, JoAnn.
