DOUGLAS, Virginia “Mac” – of Montrose, age 99, went peacefully to Heaven on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 12PM on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Burial in Flint Memorial Park to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4PM until 6PM and Friday from 11AM until the time of service.
Mac was born October 17, 1926, in Gravett, Arkansas, to the late Benjaman and Winifred (Rhodes) Cramer. She married her beloved husband, Wyman Douglas, on June 3, 1945, and together they shared 66 years of marriage. Wyman preceded her in death in 2011. Mac retired from AC Spark Plug in 1984 after 30 dedicated years of employment and was a member of the Secord Lake Eagles. She enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, winning at board and card games, and keeping her hands busy with puzzles and crochet. Mac was a wonderful woman who can never be replaced, and she will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Mac is forever remembered by: Brother and Sisters: Bennie (Mona) Cramer, Patsy Cramer, and Virginia “Jane” Puzjak; Bothers-in-law: Gerald (Barb) Douglas and Scott (Arlene) Douglas; Many beloved nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Mac was preceded in death by: Husband, Wyman; Parents, Benjaman and Winifred; Brothers and sister: Ray (Mary), James (Phyllis), Fred “Ted”, Harold, Earl (Jan), and Betty; Several nieces and nephews. |
