Steven “Jake” Raquepaw of Mt. Morris, formerly of Birch Run passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 66. In ordnance with Jakes wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 2-5PM at the Clio Eagles Aerie #3609 at 13267 N. Saginaw Rd. in Clio, MI.
Jake was born on May 5, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was the son of Woodrow and Irene (Pulley) Raquepaw. Jake graduated from Birch Run High School class of 1977. In his high school year’s, he played football and softball. In Jakes later years he enjoyed riding around on his white Harley Davidson.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jessica Raquepaw-Wood; Stepdaughter, Jennifer Beach; Grandsons: Cameron Raquepaw and Carsen Raquepaw-Wood; Several great grandchildren; Sister, Beverly Raquepaw; Special sister-in-law, Kathy Raquepaw; Brother, Jim Raquepaw; Along with several nieces and nephews. Jake was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Irene Raquepaw and brothers, Larry, Harry and Bill Raquepaw.
