SHEFSKY, William Robert – of Montrose, age 75, died Friday, March 29, 2019 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the Charity of Choice.
William was born February 23, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Chester and Dorothy (Smale) Shefsky. He grew up in the Detroit and Gladwin area in his younger years. Prior to his retirement he was a Sheet Metal Worker with the Local Union 80. He was a member of the Montrose Eagles Aerie #4090. William enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Children, Theresa Shefsky, William Shefsky Jr., DuWayne (Jennifer) Ruggirello; Son in law, Greg Wilson; Grandchildren, Sara, Annie, Kimberly, Rylie, Evan; Great Grandchildren, Lydianna, Dwayne; Companion, Deb and her son Jay.
