KING, Virginia – of Mt. Morris, age 68, passed away October 17, 2017 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Liturgy will be held 4 PM Monday, October 23, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Monday.
Virginia was born in Goodrich, MI on March 27, 1949, daughter of the late Robert and Doris Bennett. She married Kelly King and of that union was born one son, Garrett. Virginia worked in payroll for General Motors and Delphi for 30 years, most memorable being Fisher Body. She was an avid pet lover who enjoyed the company of her current dog, Tori, and cat, Toby. Virginia was very generous and thoughtful. She delighted in purchasing the perfect gifts for her family and adored her only granddaughter, Chloe.
Virginia is survived by her son, Garrett (Jennifer) King; grandchild, Chloe; sister, Penny (Joe) Steffler; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Don Malusi) Purdo, Patty (Joe) Kuch, Tommy, Todd and Thad Harper; many great nieces and nephews; father of her son, Kelly (Karen) King. She was preceded in death by her sister, Diana Quance.
