PAVLOVICH, Flora Jean - Of Flushing, age 86, died Saturday, January 17, 2015 at MediLodge of Montrose.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, January 23, 2015 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint,
Burial in St. Roberts Cemetery in Flushing.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.
Visitation 1-3pm and 5-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 6:30pm Thursday evening followed by an Incense Service at 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Flora will be at the church 10am Friday until the time of the Mass.
Flora was born in Hurley, Wisconsin on November 28, 1928. On September 17, 1949, she married Thomas Pavlovich. She was a former member of St. Agnes Church and a current member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.
Surviving are husband, Thomas;
children, Joseph (Lily), James (Diane), David, Robert (Liz) and Raymond (Carrie);
grandchildren, Michael (Angela), Darcey, Jamie, David Rizik, Bertie (Brandon) Stevens, Mazie, Twyla, Jennifer (Chad) Mills, Thomas (Erin) and Steven;
6 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Mary Luella “Lou” Semo, Gertrude “Molly” Backlund and Susan Caruso;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Marilyn Smith, sisters, Margaret Ellen Ramuta, Patricia Ann Leinon, brothers, James David, Timothy Peter, Michael, Celestin, Francis and John Ryan Trier.
The family extends a special thank you to her caregivers, Teresa Lewis, Cindy Carr, Tina Scott, Diana El-Kassis and all the nurses at Medi Lodge Montrose and Heartland Hospice for their care and support.
