Rosalie “Rose” Cory passed on to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Rosalie was born on November 17, 1917 to Willard and Charlotte Graves in Flint, Michigan. After graduating from Clio High School she married Leland D. Cory. They were blessed with three children: Leland Jr., Juanita, and Wayne.
Rosalie worked for several years at AC Spark Plug in Flint. After retirement she and her husband traveled around the U.S. in a motorhome with the Companion Camping Club. They spent several winters in Arizona. They attended the Davison Missionary Church.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister-in-law, and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by her three children, Leland and wife Arlene, Juanita, and Wayne and wife Carol. She will also be missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Davison Missionary Church. Rev. Douglas Connelly to officiate. Burial to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. |
