NEW, DARLENE DAWN- Of Burton, age 83, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at LaVigne Home.
A private burial will be held at a later date at Crestwood Cemetery.

Darlene was born in Flint, Michigan on October 30, 1941, the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Palmer) Vreeland. On February 2, 1959, she married Robert New. She was a member of Harbor Church for many years. Darlene never met anyone she did not love. She enjoyed Bingo, fishing, and camping. Above all else, she enjoyed being with her family.
Surviving are daughters, Loraine (Ron) Travis and Lori Padgett;
6 grandchildren, 10, great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, parents and daughter, Tina Wojciechowski.
