MOCHTY, Carolyn – of Burton, age 84, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at Argentine Care Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 noon Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Monday, June 21, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison, Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday. A Rosary will be prayed 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born in Flint, MI on October 10, 1936, daughter of the late Oscar and Nellie (Kisner) Vogel. She married Leo J. Mochty on November 8, 1958 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2010.

Carolyn is survived by children, Christine Mochty, Donald Mochty, Natalie Mochty and Jonathon Mochty; grandchildren, Anthony Mochty, Patrick Leavitt, Madyson and McKenzie Mochty; great-grandchildren, Kaysie, Anna and Leo; sister, Fran Kranz, brother, David; sister-in-laws, Pat (Joe) Oldeck and Cathy (John) Keener; very special friends, Lloyd (Norma) Taylor; many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by son, Ronald Mochty; son-in-law, Andy Raymond and sister, Jean Grappin.
