KEEN, Mary “Jeanette” (Webb) - Of Genesee Township, age 83, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Saturday December 27, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Daniel Cocke officiating.
Visitation 4-7pm Friday and 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.

Jeanette was born in Jewell Ridge, Virginia on August 2, 1942, the daughter of the late Russell P. Webb and Mavis J. Smith. On November 12, 1960, she married Dewey “Jr.” Keen in Richlands, Virginia. Jeanette enjoyed many things including cooking, canning garden vegetables, flowers, bowling, cake decorating, going to Curves for many years, ceramics, Music in the Parks, Blue Grass festivals, the Genesee County Fair and camping. Jeanette especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Jeanette was always one phone call away, always willing to lend a helping hand to all.
Surviving are children, Bettye (Bo) Elswick, Curtis Boyd, Bryan (Marilyn) Keen, Terry (Debra) Keen, Gerald (Lynnette) Keen, Tracy (Bill) Fowler, Vanessa (Bill) Heiden;
She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren;
siblings, Wilma Cupp, Dale Webb and Larry Webb; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jr. and grandson, Christopher.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers Camelle, Donna, Kara, Crystal, Faith and all the others who cared for Jeanette. They became a part of the Keen family, taking care of Jr. and Jeanette over the past few years as their own loved ones.
