Floria, Michael - Age 88, of Swartz Creek, died September 19, 2018. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday September 26 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Burton. Fr. Steve Anderson Celebrant. Committal services 2 PM Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Tuesday with a Knights of Columbus service at 7 PM, followed by a parish vigil service at 7:30 PM at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM until time of mass at the church on Wednesday. Michael was born July 27, 1930 in Flint the son of Tony and Rose Floria. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Michael retired from American National Insurance Company where he was a District Manager. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and also a member of the Singing Knights. He was also a member of the Sons of Italy. He is survived by 2 sons, Michael Floria of Swartz Creek, Mark (Kelly) Floria of Swartz Creek; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Jamie, Madison and Nick; 3 great grandchildren, Mia, Macey and Elizabeth; brother, Phil (Suzie) Floria; sister, Gina (Larry) Lounds; brother, Tony (Debbie) Floria; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary on May 10, 2018, daughter, Debbie Floria Fusi. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
