REINHART, Phyllis Marie – of Montrose, age 87, died Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Cranberry Park in Clio, Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montrose, Michigan. Fr. Anthony Brooks officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitor on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose and from 11AM until time of Mass at the church on Wednesday. Memorial contributions can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Humane Society of Genesee County.
Phyllis was born June 17, 1932 in Chesaning, Michigan to the late Charles and Bernice (Rolfe) Pappenheiner. She grew up in Maple Grove Township and graduated from St Michael’s Catholic School with the class of 1950. On June 30, 1951 she married Donald J. Reinhart Sr. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in New Lothrop, Michigan and he preceded her in death in 2015. Phyllis was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montrose. She enjoyed bird watching, fishing, bowling and going to their cabin in St. Helen, Michigan. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, grandchildren, and the Montrose Football Team. The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to the staff at Cranberry Park.
Surviving are: Children, Gary (Sharon) Reinhart of Flushing, Karen (Charles) Wenzlick-Eickholt of Chesaning, Don (Jan) Reinhart Jr. of Flushing, Dan (Luanne) Reinhart of Clio, David Reinhart of Flint, Dennis (Carla) Reinhart of Montrose and Cindy (Russ) Wenzlick of Sanford; 20 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; Siblings, Geraldine (Richard) Quaderer, David (Alice) Pappenheimer, Charlene (Tim) Flynn, Rosemary Pieknik; Sisters in law, Wanda Papenheimer, Sherry Pappenheimer; Special Friend, Albert Rush; several nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Donald Reinhart Sr.; Son in law, Art Wenzlick; Siblings, Chuck (Pearl) Papenheimer, Ernie Pappenheimer, Duane Pappenheimer; Brother in law, John Pieknik.
