Greg was born on December 10, 1956 in Flint, Michigan to the late Andrew B. Green Jr. & Patricia (Austin) Green. He graduated from Atherton High School, class of 1975. Greg was a proud three sport varsity graduate for basketball, football and baseball. He continued his education and love of football at the University of Colorado, where he played for one year and then transferred to Central Michigan University where he earned his Bachelor's degree in business. Greg put that business degree to work and opened The Three G's Lounge in Grand Blanc. He owned and operated this for 32 years. Greg was always a good business man but that was only half of the equation; above all he was a "people person". The Three G's Lounge was built on friendships, good community and good times. As proud of his 32 year run of operation a successful business, Greg could easily say the greatest accomplishment of his life are his twin sons, Aaron and Andrew. Greg was a hands on father, teaching, playing and always supporting his sons in all their academic or sporting endeavors. This continued on with all six of his grandchildren. There wasn't a match, game or event Greg wasn't on the sidelines being the Biggest, Loudest, Proudest Fan he could possibly be. He loved his grandchildren fiercely and never turned down an opportunity to brag about them.
Greg carried his love for sports in all areas of his life. He followed his beloved Michigan professional teams, such as the Lions and Tigers. He religiously kept himself active whether it was men's sports leagues or working out. His fondest memories where those spend with family and close friends. Greg will be missed dearly, please continue to keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through these difficult times.
Greg is survived by his son, Andrew B. Green and Aaron B. Green; his 6 grandchildren, Maizee, Henry, Kenlee, Harrison, Harlan and Olive; step grandson, Levi Early; 3 siblings, Jeff Green, Richard Green and Debra Mitchelson-Green. He is further survived by the mothers of his grandchildren, Chelsey and Mylee and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
