LANGDON, Bryan Paul – Of Flushing, age 44, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his home.
Bryan was born in Flint, Michigan on February 27, 1981, and he graduated from Hamady High School in 1999. Since that time, he has been a faithful servant of Genesee County in various capacities. Bryan worked at McLaren Security, Davita Dialysis, and various ambulance companies, the most recent being Patriot Ambulance Service, Inc. Besides loving his work as an EMT, he also accomplished his life-long dream of being a volunteer firefighter in Mt. Morris Township and Mt. Morris City.
To quote a friend “Bryan…was a dedicated EMT.” And a volunteer firefighter… “Bryan was more than just a first responder. He was a true servant of the community, always first to show up, not only in time of emergency, but everyday moments…
When his work schedule allowed, Bryan attended Mayfair Bible Church in Flushing with his friends Arron Coleman, Pastor Mike Breznau, and Matt Pearson.
Bryan leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Austin and Logan Langdon; mother, Karen Langdon; his father and wife, Theodore (Mick) and Julie Langdon; sister, Bethany Langdon; former wife, Jennifer Hodson; step-daughter, Kourtney Sari; 2 step-brothers, Joe and Chris Lane;
nephew, Evan Thorn (Jaishai and Ni’ Kai) and son, Sevan Thorn; niece, McKenzie Thorn and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by all four of his grandparents, and two aunts, Robbie Langdon and Marcia Wing.
A memorial service for Bryan will be held 3pm Friday, September 5, 2025 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI 48507. Visitation 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thrive Center at Mayfair Bible Church.
