Age 77, of Grand Blanc, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Carol’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Carol Louise Roeske was born on October 22, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester and Lola (Gillmore) Kilburn. She was generous, quirky, creative, fun loving and kind! She loved being out in the garden and had a passion for quilting. She was known as Miss Carol, a wonderful preschool teacher who was loved by all her students. She was always there to listen to others and gave great advice to all.
Left to cherish her memory are her son: Justin, Daughters: Camille and Rachelle, four grandchildren, her sister: Gail Meyer (Paul), four nephews, sister: Leann Seeley (Patrick), three nieces, and great niece Little Lily Rose.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents: Chester and Lola, and beloved grandmother: Lola Irish.
We were blessed to have many memories that we will treasure forever but we know that she is now in heaven with her Savior.
