Eldred, Jean P.- Of Burton, age 79, died Monday, May 12, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon Friday, May 16, 2025, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5005 McCandlish Road, Grand Blanc. Pastor Samuel Hacker officiating.
Visitation will be 2-8 pm Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Swarz Funeral Home, and 11 am at church Friday before the service.
Jean was born in Flint, on March 11, 1946, the daughter of the late Gerhardt and Dorothy (Vliet) Treichel.
Jean married Hugh Eldred on December 27, 1993, in Key West Florida.
Jean loved to travel with her husband Hugh especially on many motorcycle trips. She also loved sewing and enjoyed doing hair and nails for others.
Surviving are husband, Hugh;
sons, Ronald, Stephen (Jennifer), Phillip (Becky), David (Julia);
daughter, Tara;
five sisters;
special brother Gary (Rita);
grandchildren, Adam, Tyler, Dakotah, Graycn, Mercy, Benjamin, Chloe, Hannah, Bryce, Beka, and Benjamin;
great grandson, David,
she was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marie.
