GLASCO, Myrtle “Joyce” – Of Davison, age 81, died Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Village Manor in Howell.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Robyn Cook officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Interim Healthcare & Hospice.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home
Joyce was born in Flint, Michigan on February 20, 1940, the daughter of Jesse and Nina (Gould) Moutray.
Joyce graduated from the class of 1957 at Utley High School. She married William Glasco on April 7, 1958 at Deliverance Tabernacle in Flint and he preceded her in death in 2016.
She enjoyed her church life and her grandchildren more than anyone will know. She made Banana Goop and was infamous for it within her family along with her angel food cake with pink frosting.
Joyce is survived by her children, Steven, Sr. (Kim), Gerald (Lisa), Matthew and Rebecca (Steve);
grandchildren, Steven Jr. (Erika),Joshua (Jamie), Tiffany (Jordan), Zachary, Elizabeth (Joshua), Alexander, Gregory, Benjamin, Emma, Teagan and Evan;
great-grandchildren, Caitlin (Alex), Tyler, Harlow, Easton and Zakarri;
great-great-grandchildren, Zoey and Ellie.
Mrs. Glasco was preceded in death by her husband, William Donald; mother, Nina Ruth; father, Jesse Francis and brother, Jesse Lewis.
