VAILES, Sherry Marie – Of Flint, age 48, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Brian's House of Davison. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Glen Gardner and Pastor Gary Holcomb officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brian's House of Davison. Visitation 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Sherry was born in Flint, Michigan on June 7, 1963, the daughter of David Rivord and step-mother, Gloria Rivord. She married Marty Vailes on January 6, 1989 in Oklahoma City. She was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene in Flint. Sherry was Business Office Manager at Integrated Health Services in Clarkston, Michigan. Surviving are husband, Marty Vailes of Flint; children, Jennifer Vailes of Corsicana, Texas,
Sonja Williams of Lima, Ohio and Rachel Perry of Dayton, Ohio;
five grandchildren, Aiden Rollings, Mariyah Williams, Emma Perry, Joseph Williams, Jr. and Landon Perry. She was preceded in death by mother, Anna Gene Rivord; grandparents, Geraine and Kathern Vowell, Edith and Edward Rivord.
