MCLAREN, Shirley - Of Montrose, age 76, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Genesee Care Center.
Memorial visitation will be held 4-6pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation has taken place.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Shirley was born in Ketchikan, Alaska on September 20, 1940, the daughter of the late Edwin and Irene Langsdale. On November 27, 1951, she married Jack McLaren in Flint and he preceded her in death on October 22, 2016. Shirley loved gardening and being with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Stephen (Laura) McLaren, Nancy (Luke) Taylor, Gary (April) McLaren;
grandchildren, Hunter, Haley, Zack, and Andrew;
brother, Larry Langsdale;
and sister, Nancy Kark.
